The

The Activities Advanced
Golf Group were
extremely delighted with
the contribution of time
that was donated by Mr.
Stuart Syme PGA
Professional, to provide
Tuition which took place
at Brighouse Bay Golf
centre, the group really
benefited from his
expertise and Knowledge,
it was especially
pleasing as Stuart knew
all the pupils from the
upper school and was
able to consolidate the
progress from precious
Kirkcudbrightshire
coaching and was
delighted to so much
talent within the group.
Brighouse bay was an
ideal location as its
practice area is so well
suited to group tuition
with wall to wall
sunshine, everyone had a
fantastic day thanks to

Letter received from Malcolm
Kirkwood (Aug 2007)
As Junior Conveyor at Kirkcudbright
Golf Club i would like to confirm that we have now completed
our 5 hour coaching allocation with James Erskin, Funded
by the KGA and offer our sincere thanks for you support
of Junior Golf in the area.
James managed to spread time
across almost 30 junior golfers of vaying levels; from
beginners aged 7upwards to single player handicaps and
was thouroughlt enjoyed. i think they all took something
away from the sessions and will use it to improve thiere
play.
Unfortunatly Mother Nature didn't
favour us on the day in question and it looked like
being quite a washout, however i made a call to Mr.
Gillespie at Brighouse Bay and he allowed us to use
his covered driving range, this prevented us from having
to postpone the event.
we were very grateful for the
coaching provided through the assocation and would be
delighted to include it again in the future.
Yours sincerely
Malcolm Kirkwood
